Hardtail incorporates 2" of stretch and 5" of ground clearance for a great looking stance with a stock length front end. This frame is constructed from .120" wall (approximately 1/8") American Made Seamless D.O.M. Steel Tubing that is bent using a precision CNC Mandrel Bender for the ultimate in smooth bend quality and accuracy. All tubing is sized to match stock outer diameter and is slugged at all frame attachment points for a high strength, seamless looking install that makes your stock frame look like a 100% custom made frame, without all of the title/registration headaches. Hardtail is designed using the latest 3D CAD Software and is built right here in the USA using a precision made, 100% CNC Machined Welding fixture for the best fit in the industry. High strength axle plates are CNC Laser cut from 3/8" Thick American Made Steel plate.
They feature classic styling, an integrated fender strut hole, as well as threaded axle adjusters for your convenience. Due to increased width, a 1" offset sprocket or pulley is required, as well as a longer axle (See TC Bros Part #104-0032). Due to stretch, a longer chain or belt (137 tooth belt) is also required. Most customers convert belt drive sportsters to chain drive for best performance, maximum frame clearance, and maximum cost savings vs belts.
Weld or braze on these guides onto your frame to neatly secure your hoses, cables, or wiring!

Brass framed goggles made with an inclusive angle of 135 degree offering a wider range of vision than the single pane flat or convex lens were first introduced by the Royal Air Force in the late nineteen twenties. In addition they were stronger and much more durable than the Perspex type lens which could fracture when struck by an object or during a collision. Made from laminated glass the lenses also offered a UV protection benefit and later became available with a tinted laminate , ideal for night time use. Many open top motor car drivers , motor cyclists and of course RAF fliers adopted these preferred eye protectors.
Polycarbonate lenses became available with the development of plastics and are widely used now but we are able to offer polycarbonate or glass lenses in our range of Mark 49 goggles for the discerning enthusiast .All of our Mark goggles are manufactured at our factory in Hertford where we carry out thirteen different stamping and pressing stages to make the frames and a further fifteen operations are required to produce ancillary items ,lens holders , air ventilation and adjustment components , headband straps and the final plating or painting processes.
